November 4, 2019 Lead Me Guide Me!

Hey family and friends!!
Transfer news came!! Sister Lewis will be leaving to ceana plantation. We have had the BEST time together. She is the happiest sweetest person in the world and I know she will bless so many people's lives as she moves to a different area.
My new companion will be sister Wilde!

Miracle:

While tracting about a month ago, we stopped at a house and knocked. We were taken inside and pounded with questions about the gospel. We were flipping through our book of Mormon and pulling up scripture after scripture to be repeatedly shot down. This was your typical bible bash.
The spirit was lacking and although we refrained from arguing, we were more focused on finding evidence then we were on letting the spirit enter their hearts and testify of the truthfulness of our message.

It got to the point were we could hardly get a word into the conversation, until from the far end of the couch a young boy sat up and looked straight at his parents. He began to speak up for us and desired for them to just listen to what we had to say.
After that they were completely quiet.
We gave the boy a book of Mormon and spoke of the restoration and the importance of the Book.
He took it gratefully.

That moment slipped from our minds as the weeks past by, until one day, at service, the young boy and his grandma appear. They express their desire for us to return to their house and as their truck pulled away we realized we had NO idea where their house was!

The next day we set a goal to visit this little family. Knowing we didn't know where the house was located we asked heavenly father for help. We prayed that our bikes would be guided straight to their house, and then we started peddling.

We went down the street, but none of the houses or streets were even familiar. We have biked their many times before but it was as if we were in a whole new area. Finally after quite a few turns we were passing a street and it was like a light had turned on. We recognized the street!! We turned left but quickly switched directions when it didn't feel quite right. As we moved forward Sister Lewis gasped
"The house is right there!!"

Of all the streets in Texas, we were lead to the one house we had prayed to be lead to. There were times during the journey where we felt lost, where we doubted the direction we had turned or the distance we had traveled, but despite all of that, we kept peddling!

This was NO coincidence! Heavenly Father knows each and every one of his children. He hears your prayers!! We must learn that heavenly father knows what is best for each of us, and all we have to do is keep peddling, and eventually we will reach our destination.

I love you All and I pray for you!
Have an AMAZING week!

Love,
Sister Elgaaen
