August 10, 2020 Faith Like Rahab

 Hello Family and friends!

This week has been amazing! (Sorry in advance that there are only a few photos, but I spaced it this week!) We were able to do a lot of service for both people in our area, as well as the community. From cutting fabric to washing puppies, I would have to say this week felt like a dream. ❤

Quick side note: HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA BARBS!!!!

I was reading from the bible this week in Joshua. Let me give you a little background. Moses has just died. He ordained Joshua as the next individual to lead the people. Joshua sends spies into Jericho to look at the land which they are going to claim for their own.

As the spies enter the land, they stopped at a woman named Rahab's house to lodge for the night. The king of Jericho wants these men dead. He calls for them, but Rahab hides them on her roof, and tells the king that they already left the land. The king sends armies out into the direction Rahab said they had left. She then goes and speaks to the spies.
She tells them that she knows they have been guided by god to take this land. She explains that she has heard of the miracles Moses performed, and she knows for herself that they are true.

I love this story. How can we have faith like Rahab? Someone who doesn't have to be an eye witness to have a testimony, and act in faith.
Who are some "Raheb's" in your life? People who serve you without asking, who love you without any effort on your part. Recognize those Raheb's, and I challenge you to do something nice for them. Thank them, treat them, love them.

I love you all!!
