September 16,2019 You Don't Read the Book of Mormon You Eat It!

Hey family and friends!
This week we were able to see a miracle:
THE CAKE MIRACLE:
Each Tuesday, Thursday and Friday my companion and I participate in service at the local food bank. Recently they have had the customers come inside and choose a few items off of each table. My favorite table to be in charge of restocking is the bakery table. 😁 This particular Tuesday there was a limited selection of baked deserts and despite my efforts of trying to find more there was only two items left on the table.
I had already searched almost each box and wasn't having any luck so for a while I gave up my search.
Around twenty minutes later I had a feeling to just look again. The amount of customers we had coming in had slowed sufficiently so I left the table and moved to the back to search for more deserts to set out. I looked in every box, and it wasn't until I opened the Last box on the last crate that I found 4 cakes.
I looked to the table and debated on putting one out, the table was already quite full with rolls and other assorted breads.
I was moved to just grab one cake and place it on the end of the table. There was hardly any room for it and I had to scoot a few things over to fit it, but the cake was now an option.
A woman was walking to the table and I smiled and gestured to the baked goods telling her she could pick two items.
She looked up at me and tears began to form in her eyes. "Can I have the cake?" She asked quietly.
"Of course!" I said picking it up and handing it to her.
The woman held the cake in her arms and looked down at it lovingly. "I normally don't believe in God," she said, "but I know this is no coincidence. My niece is in the hospital and it is her birthday tomorrow. Our family is struggling, but I told them I would make a cake for her birthday. I didn't know how I would afford one, but look at this cake!" She smiled and wiped a tear from her eye. "It's so beautiful!"

I know that God loves each one of us. He is constantly looking out for us even through small things such as a cake for a little girl. I know that when we listen to the Spirit we can touch others hearts in ways unimaginable!
We are never alone!!

I hope you are all having a great week and constantly doing what is right haha 😁
I miss all of you!
Next week is transfer week, but I am hoping I stay with my trainer sister Lewis! She is the best!!
We had a great week and were able to give out 3 book of Mormons, next week we are challenging ourselves to give out at least one a day 😉

I love you guys so much and I am praying for you!!

Have the best week ever!
