September 9, 2019 Wind at the Front Dog at the Back!

Hey family and friends!
This week has been all over the place! I had a goal to find a lawn to mow and I FOUND TWO!! 😁 next week I have two lawns to mow.
My companion and I got to teach the lesson in Relief Society (let me just say it was my first time in Relief Society for a while...i didn't really have any idea how things normally ran, so I mixed it up a little bit 😉) we picked the talk "Careful verses Casual" by Becky Cravens given this last general conference. She was the woman who spoke about finding true happiness and doing so by staying on the "track". I did a fun activity with the women where they had to get from one side of the room to the other without touching the floor (only using the piece of paper I gave them). If they let the paper rest on the ground without having constant contact with it, the paper would be taken away. If anyone got off the papers the whole group would have to go back. They did a fantastic job!!!
I related this to being careful about keeping our covenants with got and following his commandments. If we even for a second let go of the paper, it was taken from us. If we slip from following the commandments or maybe we aren't focused on keeping our covenants, those blessing promised to us in the temple and at baptism will be taken away.
One of the most important things that is taking over the world is modesty! Stay modest!! Modest is hottest (especially out here in texas) but it is well worth the blessings that come when we do live and dress modestly.

Someone once asked me why living the gospel was black and white, why couldn't we just be grey. You cannot make grey without adding a little black! We can be made white through the saviors atonement! Christ loves you and he has suffered greatly in your behalf, but every drop he bleed for you was worth it because he loves you unconditionally!!

We got chased by a dog this week and it was a close call!! I though for sure my companion was going to be taken out. It was a large police looking black dog and it chased us as we were riding out bikes to an appointment. We heard a bark and turned around and the dog was practically ontop of my companions back tire. I don't think I have ever peddled so fast in my life (except when racing my dad haha)
I know that the Lord is keeping me safe.

This week we got to go to NASA for P-day!!!! It was so cool and there will be many pictures haha

I love you All so much!!!
Have a blessed week 😁😂
